Create a new Word document and give it a name such as Sample-11 (the size that Lucia and other students have used).<\/p>\n<p>2. From the File menu select Page Setup.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">a. On the Margins tab type 0.3 for Top, Bottom, Left and Right margins.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">b. Set both Header and Footer to 0.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">c. If you get an error message saying that your printer can&#8217;t use one or more of the margins specified, allow the program to substitute the minimum margins that your printer can provide.<\/p>\n<p>3. At the top of the document insert a table.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">a. From the Table menu select Insert table.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">b. In the dialog that opens set Columns to 1, set Rows to 4.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">c. With your cursor anywhere in the table, go to the Table menu and choose Select Table.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">d. Go to the Format menu and select Font.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">e. In the Font dialog go to Size and type in 42, then click OK.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">f. With the table still selected, go to the Format menu and choose Borders and Shading.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">g. On the Borders tab, go to the Style area and click on 2-1\/4 pt.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">h. In the picture in the Border area click near its top and it will show a 2-1\/4 point horizontal border. Do the same near the bottom and a second horizontal line will appear. Finally, click near the picture&#8217;s center and a third horizontal line will appear. Click OK to apply the lines to the table.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">i. The final task is to add just enough rows to fit on one page. Click anywhere in the table and select Print Preview from the File menu.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">j. Go to the Table menu and choose Insert Rows. Repeat this (or use the shortcut Control plus Y) until the page is filled with lines. If the display goes to 2 pages you can select Undo from the Edit menu to reduce it back to one page.<\/p>\n<p>4.
